Fitbit : How to sync calendar events from multiple accounts

I recently bought a Fitbit Sense to track and work on my health goals. Since its 2021 and Fitbit being one of the leaders in the market, I knew it could do more than just that — For starters, I wanted it to sync my calendar events from various accounts so I can check my upcoming event with ease. My personal accounts (1 Gmail and 1 Hotmail) and my work account (1 Outlook).

Unfortunately, there was no decent information out there on how to do this. Ultimately, I found a way and is the main motivation behind publishing this article (also tested this on Fitbit Versa 3).

To sync your calendars’ events we need to check which app(s) you used on your phone to setup various accounts. In this example, let’s consider I used Gmail App to setup my Gmail account, BlueMail App to setup my Hotmail account and finally Outlook App to setup my work account. It doesn’t matter which app you use, the setting used to sync would be available.

BlueMail

  1. Goto your Accounts Settings option in your left menu

2. Tap on the account you want to sync with your Fitbit

3. Turn on the Enable Calendar Sync option

Gmail (might already be enabled in most phones)

  1. Goto your Settings option in your left menu
  2. Tap on the account you want to sync with your Fitbit
  3. Check the Sync Gmail option

Outlook

  1. Tap on the gear icon (Settings) in your left menu
  2. Under Mail accounts, tap on the account you want to sync
  3. Enable the Sync calendars option

Whichever app you end up using to setup your email accounts, the option to Sync calendars will most probably be available. Just try finding this and enabling it.

Once you’ve synced your accounts, head to Fitbit’s Agenda app. This is the default app which Fitbit uses to manage your daily schedule.

To access it, Goto Fitbit app on your phone, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Apps > Agenda > Settings.

This is what the Agenda Settings would look like:

All the accounts that you synced would show up here. You can color code each of them which would help you identify which account the events were synced from.

After configuring, just in case sync your Fitbit app with your watch and that's it! You should now be able to see all the synced calendar events on your watch via the Agenda app. If you want to see the upcoming event without the need to visit the Agenda app, you can just install a clock face which shows events from your Agenda.
